My Thoughts

Review covers 57 chapters

To say the truth, the first time I read this manga, I didn't quite like the ending. I wanted more romance or I better say a more physical expression of romance. I somehow forget all about it until one day I just had this uncontrollable urge to reread it. And if you know me, you'll know that once I get something into my head, I don't forget it until I do it. Therefore, that fateful day, when I scraped the skin off my leg and couldn't walk to do anything I started re-reading today's story. And don't forget that I still had an have an infinitely long currently as well as to-read list, both of book and manga. *laughs.

That being said, now that I'm writing the review, I can assure you I can't remember the characters' names. (at least a week passed, plus, I have a problem remembering names of the characters once I finish the book and a long time passes,) and add to that all those other books that I read right after I finish one. Thus, I have no problem remembering what's the story about, some very random parts from it, but if I haven't read a really lots of time or if it just doesn't stay in my brain I totally forget the characters names. Well, actually, just now I remembered the grandfather's name why because it's Raizou and in Japanese it means thunder.

Okay, that was a really big interlude with a bunch of idiotic remarks about myself and my reading habits. Are you ready to hear what's the actual story about? Yay! Well, then imagine a situation where our protagonist is young high-school girl becomes an orphan, and from somewhere her grandfather (mom's dad) appears and takes her in. No to becoming homeless or selling her body to pay the bills! But as all stories do, there's a small, if you think about it, non-existing catch. Wanna hear it? Her grandpa is a Yakuza and our cute and sweet + innocent protagonist will have to start living in a house full of weirdos. But that's not all, the weirdest of all is her caretaker aka her school student body president and let's just say the most popular boy there. Sounds fun? that's only the beginning.

It's not a dramatic Yakuza story with a dark twist, rather it's a fantastic comedy with a bit of drama to spice things up! Are you ready to know what's it like to get adopted into the family and yet to know a truly amazing bunch of weirdos? Don't worry you won't be disappointed. On the contrary, you love the atmosphere, you'll laugh a lot on the art style and just believe me you'll have a really good time! Enjoy it to your fullest and don't forget to share your thoughts below! Stay tuned for more reviews as well as promos! Don't miss your next favourite book or manga! Happy reading!

XOXO
